In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

The University of Leeds is known for its innovative research, world-class academics, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the world. This TEDx conference will bring together experts from various fields to explore how Leeds can be a catalyst for change, both locally and globally.
